Lil’ Sammy: Handsome Samson

     Lil' Sammy entered our lives Memorial Day weekend in 2002. We had no intention of bringing another weinerdog into our home when we woke up that day. However, a call from our relatives alerted us to a doxie up for adoption by San Diego Animal Rescue. Even though we both had bad colds, we went out to see this little fellow, and we're very glad we did.  We fell in love at first sight.  Sammy is one of the longest doxies we have ever seen, and he is as gentle as he is long. When new people meet him, the one thing they all state is "he's so handsome!"  We don't know much about his past, but we know he has a very bright future.  He is as dear as he could be, especially to our new (and sometimes overly playful) puppy Lil' Slim Jim.  We will always be thankful for getting the call that brought Sammy into our lives.
